If it wasn’t for the public library, I wouldn't be the woman who I am today.
The public library has been part of my life for my entire life! As a young girl growing up in Sunbury, I visited the Midway branch to check out books that allowed me to explore other cultures, imagine myself in new places, and learn about history.
As I grew into an adult with a family and career, I began visiting the library as a place to engage my daughters in the programs as well as build my business.
As a young girl growing up in Sunbury, I visited the Midway branch to check out books that allowed me to explore other cultures, imagine myself in new places, and learn about history.
If it wasn’t for the public library, I wouldn't be the woman who I am today. All of the hours spent in the library, the many conversations I have had with staff, and the knowledge I’ve gained from the books, devices, and classes is something I hope many generations get to enjoy.
