The Foundation facilitates the mission of Live Oak Public Libraries through ongoing fundraising and planned giving.
The Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund support programs such as the Library’s annual Summer Reading Program and additional programming for all ages throughout the year.
Library Legacy Fund
Gifts to the Library Legacy Fund build an endowment fund primarily for the purpose of increasing the collections of the Live Oak Public Libraries and to support fully the general educational purposes of the Library. Endowment income enables the Library to maintain the integrity of the collection in negative funding cycles and eventually make possible an expansion of the breadth of offerings available to library users. It is not intended to supplant public funding.
Special Events
Live Oak Public Libraries Foundation organizes and presents seasonal events to raise funds to supplement programs envisioned and provided by Live Oak Public Libraries for lifelong learning.
