Economic Empowerment

Libraries provide resources and training to help individuals apply for a job,
advance their careers, and better manage their financial lives.

They Were There

Economic Empowerment  |  Technology Access

Every time we needed help, they were there.

Luther and Arvenette moved to Savannah looking for jobs. They came to W.W. Law Library to fill out an online application. Staff guided their computer use and taught them a few computer skills. They were able to create resumes and apply for jobs.

If it wasn't for them, we probably would still be without a job.

"These ladies are the best. Every time we need help, they were there. We really appreciate everything they do for us. If it wasn't for them, we probably would still be without a job. Thank you for everything."

They came back to the library to say thanks and let us know that Luther found employment and Arvenette is waiting on a call for employment.
