Discover a new adventure in reading and play!
Visit Live Oak Public Libraries’ latest StoryWalk® installations, where reading meets outdoor fun. These unique experiences invite everyone to enjoy a story while strolling through the park.
Each permanent StoryWalk® displays vibrant, oversized pages of children’s books in weather-resistant panels along a short path. As a service to the community, LOPL will refresh the stories seasonally.
We thank Lake Mayer Park, Tom Triplett Park, and Chatham County Parks & Recreation for their partnership in making this project possible. We are also grateful to the International Paper Foundation for their generous grant support.
Additional StoryWalk® installations are planned for public outdoor spaces in Effingham and Liberty counties in 2025.
