A customer at Garden City Library was not only able to apply for a job using library computers, but was also interviewed and hired. She could not wait to tell staff about her first day working for a local hospital system.
Another patron came in to Garden City Library requesting help with her laptop. Staff gave her some tech tutorials on how to access her library account online, search the catalog, and place holds. She was pleased to learn how to do this on her own. The patron said she had lost her job during the COVID shutdown and that the library has been a wonderful resource.
