Live Oak Public Libraries has been an integral part of my life since grade school.
Live Oak Public Libraries has been an integral part of my life since grade school. Even after grade school, I used the library system throughout college to do research for papers while home on break and during my Master's thesis process. Having a library system that is consistent like Live Oak Public Libraries has been key to me having access to various resources such as the genealogy rooms, computers and printing access, and rare books.
More recently, the library system came in handy during my fellowship, where I researched and wrote about Gullah Geechee culture. I am happy to be introducing my son to this library organization and serving as a member of the board now.
