Lifelong Learning I Quality of Life
You can find truth at your library
I remember as a kid growing up, getting a library card and how exciting it was. My mom would take me to the “world of books” and I could check out books I wanted. What an imagination boost!!! That’s how I developed my passion for reading, and that has opened creativity I never thought I had.
The library can often be one of the best kept secret gems in our community and I wanted to serve to constantly share the amazing resources the library has with our community and especially with children who are underserved.
We explore our present, investigate our history, plan our future. At the library we can lose ourselves in stories that make us laugh, warm our hearts, teach us things, and start thought provoking conversations.
Libraries are important because, as we know, “reading is FUNdamental." The library, its books, and the resources are free to everyone, regardless of you who are or where you live. It’s a source of learning and information that is readily available. We explore our present, investigate our history, plan our future. At the library, we can lose ourselves in stories that make us laugh, warm our hearts, teach us things, and start thought-provoking conversations. We see what was possible and what can be.
