Community Engagement

Live Oak Public Libraries engages with communities in Chatham, Effingham and Liberty Counties to meet people where they are - through outreach events and homebound services. We provide programs and partnerships that build and enhance our communities.

Outreach Services

Are you hosting a school activity or community event and want us to attend?

Get in touch at (912) 927-4082 or outreach@liveoakpl.org for details about collaborating with the Library!

Homebound Services

Patrons who are not able visit the library due to illness, disability, or related issues may request homebound services.  Access to all types of library materials is available and items requested are delivered for free by library staff to individuals at their place of residence. Call (912) 927-4079 for more information.

Books on the Go

Homebound Mail Program

Books on the Go allows homebound patrons to request library materials for free delivery and pickup.  The library will mail items to your residence, and when you are ready, you just mail them back to the library - all at no cost to you.
