Carmen grew up visiting Savannah libraries, checking out tons of books, and sometimes returning them late! She went on to graduate from college, work with the Library of Congress, and get her Master's degree.
She says, "After 35 years of serving the public as a branch manager, academic, children's, reference, and high school librarian, it's because of Savannah's libraries."
