Chromebooks and Hotspots

Chromebook Devices and Wireless Mobile Hotspots

Live Oak Public Libraries is increasing access to technology and the internet by providing Chromebooks and Hotspots for checkout. 

 

Chromebooks

To checkout a Chromebook, individuals must be 18 years of age or older and have both a valid library card and valid State identification. The device can be checked out for a maximum period of three days and must be returned to the same library from which it was borrowed. Users must also comply with the Library's Computer & Internet Use Policy.

 

Hotspots

To checkout a Hotspot, individuals must have a valid library card or Student PLAY account. The device can be checked out for a maximum period of three days and must be returned to the same library from which it was borrowed.
