All About PLAY Cards

Unlock a world of free resources for school and beyond!

The PLAY (PINES Library Access for Youth) Card gives Georgia public school students fine-free access to millions of public library materials—both physical and digital. Students automatically receive a PLAY account when they are assigned a student ID/lunch number at school.

Through Live Oak Public Libraries’ partnership with local public school systems, the PLAY program provides students with:

  • Instant access using their student ID number
  • Free borrowing of books, e-books, and more—with no overdue fines
  • Online learning tools, including free tutoring, homework help, and literacy resources
  • College and career support, with test prep and job readiness resources
Explore. Learn. Succeed. Your PLAY Card makes it easy!

The PLAY program is currently available to all Pre-K through 12th grade students in Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, Effingham County Schools, and Liberty County School System.
