- Census materials, family histories, county histories and other genealogy materials
- Civil War records, Colonial, Revolutionary, and Confederate records of Georgia
- Gamble Collection of maps, manuscripts and pictures pertaining to Savannah history
- Newspapers, Savannah telephone books, city directories, and Sanborn maps
- Savannah Morning News on microfilm from 1763 to present
