The Local Author Program provides the opportunity for local authors to donate their works to Live Oak Public Libraries. The Library’s selection criteria are applied to each work, and those that meet our selection criteria are added to a Local Authors Shelf in select libraries across Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties. The availability of these titles gives residents the chance to read works that might not otherwise be found in the PINES catalog.
Thank you for your interest in submitting your work! Please allow us some time to review and respond to your submission. We will acknowledge receipt of your work within 30 days. You will receive notification regarding our decision within 90 days.
Live Oak Publc Libraries does NOT accept:
- Text Books
- Self-Published E-books
* Works not accepted for the collection will be donated to community needs.
