For Chandler it’s all in a day’s work. The story does contain explicit content, but it is a great read nonetheless.

Although a bit dated this is a good example of the literary romantic gothic revival, complete with spooky setting, a séance, ghosts, and of course, the mutual attraction between two stubborn people. While staying in a historical home Ruth Bennett, of sound and logical mind, decides to host a séance to humor her niece and friends. However, when Ruth’s niece begins to speak in a voice not her own, Ruth realizes she may have just invited more than just ghosts into her home.
The first in three books that wickedly twist classic princess fairytales, this one focuses on the fairest of them all. The dwarves are not how you remember them and while the Queen has her faults, one can only blame her upbringing. Snow White is anything but a lady as one selfish prince begins to realize. For those wanting a different, grownup taste for fairytales this is the best by far!
