Lieutenant Flipper’s Trial

A one-act play dramatizing the fateful 1881 trial of Lt. Henry O. Flipper. Presented and performed by the play’s author, Bob Rogers, a former U.S. Army Captain and combat leader during the Vietnam War in Troop A, 1/10th Cavalry. In 1877, Lt. Flipper was the first African-American to graduate from West Point.

Hooray For Hollywood! 2016 Foundation Gala

The evening begins as you enter the stunning and historic Bull Street Library at 7:00 p.m. and includes cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, nostalgic, Hollywood-themed entertainment, a silent auction, and some wonderful surprises throughout the evening. The annual Gala helps the Foundation raise funds to support programs and services in our 19 libraries, spanning three counties.
