Free Tax Assistance

February 3 - April 16

FREE tax preparation assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers from the AARP Foundation, in partnership with the IRS, will assist with State & Federal tax returns.

Bring all documentation and forms needed to complete your return. Registration is required in person for each day. Early arrival is strongly recommended.

IRS certified volunteers from AARP Foundation are at library locations listed below.

Bull Street Library (3rd Floor)
Monday - Thursday, 10 AM - 3 PM

Southwest Chatham Library (2nd Floor)
Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM

Hinesville Library
Wednesdays, 10 AM - 3 PM

Springfield Library (Meeting Room)
Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM

Note: AARP Foundation volunteers cannot assist with “Schedule C” returns but they can assist with “Schedule C – EZ” returns.
