The challenge invites ages 0-18 to read at least 5 hours during the month of January. Progress is tracked online and participants earn virtual badges for each hour of reading. #WinterRead2019

Kids of all ages can read at their own pace and earn chances to win a Grand Prize. Join us this winter and discover a love of reading!

Winter Reading Challenge uses the Beanstack platform. Hundreds of libraries and schools across the nation will encourage their communities to read a target number of minutes and books. If we reach the collective goal, "Shark Tank" investor Mark Cuban will donate $35,000 to top participating libraries to expand access to the resources we offer within the community.
